Shakespeare in the kitchen –
FRIED GOURD
ingredients
gourd
2 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of flour
oil to fry

How to do it
Scrap away the skin from the gourd (=zucca).
Cut it in thin slices (= fettine)
Boil it, then let it dry (= fai seccare)a little.
Roll(falla rotolare) it is white flour and salt.
Fry it.
Once in the disch, you can add fennel, breadcrumbs or saffron
