In Europe, in the second half of the 1990s,  a coup d’état  changed the economy of many countries, Italy included. It was bloodless, but since then firms have closed, people have got unemployed and retirees are on the verge  of poverty. The book supplies documents and proofs about the introduction of  Euro and its consequences.
THE AUTHOR – Angelo Polimeno (1959) is a parliamentary journalist of Tg1 who has always dealt with home and foreign policy. Among his books Presidente, ci consenta (2011) and Repubblica, atto terzo (2012).

THE AUTHOR – Yanis Varoufakis (1961) is the current Finance Minister of Greece in the new government of Alexis Tsipras. He is a political economist, Professor of Economic Theory at the University of Athens, author, and a participant in the current debates on the global and European crisis. Among his books translated into Italian is Il Minotauro globale (2012).

In this book Aldo Savoldello –  Silvan’ real name – tells about his story and why he decided to become a magician: at the age of seven he was involved in a magic show in a Venetian inn and his passion started. He became Saghibù and then Silvan. The episodes and anecdotes he describes  spell the readers and make them share his  same passion.
THE AUTHOR – Silvan (Aldo Savoldello) is one of the main living magicians and has brought magic into the Italian houses with his performances in Sim Sala Bim. He is the only European artist awarded «Magician of the Year»  by the academy of Magical Arts of Hollywood.

THE AUTHORS
Luigi Bisignani worked for different newspapers and was head press office in the first republic ministeries. Now he is partner of a consulting company. He has already published two spy-stories Il sigillo della porpora and Nostra signora del kgb, the thriller Il Direttore (2014) and L’uomo che sussurra ai potenti with Paolo Madron (2013).
Paolo Madron, journalist, news correspondent, is now director of the on-line newspaper Lettera43.it. His publications include Il lato debole dei poteri forti (2005) and Storia segreta del capitalismo italiano (with Cesare Romiti, 2012).
